It's hard to imagine that any date with Days of our Lives' Robert Scott Wilson (Ben Weston) could be bad, but he reveals that being a sexy soap opera star doesn't act as a shield against horrible dating experiences!

Imagine a date with a super sexy, successful soap opera star. What could possibly go wrong? Lots, according to Days of our Lives' Robert Scott Wilson (Ben Weston), who recently opened up about an incredibly strange dating situation he experienced.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, the Massachusetts native reveals some details about a date that he says goes down in history as being his worst ever -- mostly because there was a very awkward third wheel.

"It was meeting this girl, who I believe I met on set. We were going out for the night, and when I got in the car, her mom was in it," he shares. "It was just weird, because I had never gone out with her before and her mom was there!"

To make matters worse, Wilson says that the mother ended up talking with him more than the daughter. "She was really into it," he recalls. "It was strange."

Even though the situation was awkward, can anyone really blame the mom for enthusiastically chatting up Ben's portrayer? We're going to go out on a limb and guess that, given the opportunity to get to know one of daytime's hottest men, any true soap fan would do the same!
